First, my beloved Redwings lost against Tampa Bay on Sunday another obvious robbery by the referees. Let the boys play for pity sake. But they fought good and hard and I an’t mad at ’em. They play with grit and fineness and as a fan only a win makes ne happier. It was good to see their general manager and our former captain  and my pretend husband Steve Yzerman. Hi Stevie.

In The Footsteps of a Killer. A young girl grows up seeing a bad man in her dreams do bad things. She grows up into a young woman and now he wants to come back from the grave to do more bad things. She discovers his pair of cursed shoes and anyone who puts on these shoes become the serial killer Albert Cain MacArthur. The first five people to get these shoes are possessed to commit the last five crimes of Albert’s in order for him to appease his evil dark master and come back from the dead to become an unstoppable killing machine.

So with the new turn of events I have decided to begin the next novel, Through The Eye’s Of A Killer. This picks up where In The Footsteps Of A Killer leaves off. Leah wakes up in the hospital with not much of knowledge of whats happened to her. Justin her fiancée and a cop has to come up with a cover story to keep her from going to jail for attempted murder. His murder….a la vee…Happy Horror

some good news

Today was interesting. I was supposed to go to the dentist because last night my tooth hurt. So of course I woke up just fine and of course didn’t go. I’ll pay for that later. My sister is moving out of my house after almost ten years and I was in the basement sorting through her son’s childhood books, he’s 18 and a half now. As I was sorting I got a call from a publisher. She wanted to talk about my novel, “In The Footsteps Of A Killer,” Wow Nice I thought and while I won’t go into details just right now It was very encouraging. About Dark Reflections.

“Dark Reflections,” is the gripping paranormal romance novel of what happens when love endures even into eternity and not in a good way. Monika Banks is plagued by a reoccurring nightmare that not only engulfs her nights but has now moved into her days. Her nemesis is the long dead Captain  Damon Philippe Le Rouge whose eternal search for his lost island princess Amiya leads him from hell into the tortured nightmare of Monica.

Monica finds a beautiful house on a cliff in Maine that she must have. Her need to possess this house is as strong as her fear of it. She and her husband Dr. David Banks move in and from the first step into the house strange things begin to happen. David’s skull is almost cleaved in two the very first day.Strange dissapearences, accidents and death are the legacy of this house. Why is Monica so drawn to it? Can David find out the house’s secret and save his wife? Or will the long dead pirate finally find his princess?

Next blog I’ll tell you a little about “Footsteps” until then , Happy Horror.

No word yet

Well here it is November 1 and I have still had no word from the publisher who said she liked my story. She was due back from vacation Octeber 15 . I can only assume a few things One she liked my novel at first but now doesn’t, Two she is tring to create a new place for it to fit in example: dangerous love or she dropped it in the trash. I’m still grateful to have gotten even that far.

I’m a horror writer who dabbles in some romance. My true love is horror so I think the romance that I wrote and that she liked at first went a little too dark in the middle for her. As I said, I’m a horror writer. I tried to write a foo foo romance but it didn’t stay foo foo like I told it to do.

When Dark Reflections was born It was the brain child of a dream. As a youngster I had trouble sleeping so I would make up a story in my mind to put myself to sleep by. Eventually I was able to sleep but the story kept coming. It wouldn’t come every day but when it did it picked up where it left off until the only thing I was seeing was white lines moving like movie credits. So I woke up and stared writing it. As I had wrote my story many things happened. I lost the tablet I was writing on, I found it. I lost it I found it. I lost it, moved and found it. I got a table top computer. I carried a Brothers typewriter to the job with me, I got a lab top. By the time all of these things had occurred 20 years had passed. So finally 20 years in the making Dark Reflections was born. On the day I sighed and said The End, the flood gates of my imagination opened wide and I could not stop writing. So much for my fourth grade teacher, who was old then and probably gone now…creativity is not plagiarism.
