Well here it is November 1 and I have still had no word from the publisher who said she liked my story. She was due back from vacation Octeber 15 . I can only assume a few things One she liked my novel at first but now doesn’t, Two she is tring to create a new place for it to fit in example: dangerous love or she dropped it in the trash. I’m still grateful to have gotten even that far.

I’m a horror writer who dabbles in some romance. My true love is horror so I think the romance that I wrote and that she liked at first went a little too dark in the middle for her. As I said, I’m a horror writer. I tried to write a foo foo romance but it didn’t stay foo foo like I told it to do.

When Dark Reflections was born It was the brain child of a dream. As a youngster I had trouble sleeping so I would make up a story in my mind to put myself to sleep by. Eventually I was able to sleep but the story kept coming. It wouldn’t come every day but when it did it picked up where it left off until the only thing I was seeing was white lines moving like movie credits. So I woke up and stared writing it. As I had wrote my story many things happened. I lost the tablet I was writing on, I found it. I lost it I found it. I lost it, moved and found it. I got a table top computer. I carried a Brothers typewriter to the job with me, I got a lab top. By the time all of these things had occurred 20 years had passed. So finally 20 years in the making Dark Reflections was born. On the day I sighed and said The End, the flood gates of my imagination opened wide and I could not stop writing. So much for my fourth grade teacher, who was old then and probably gone now…creativity is not plagiarism.
